These daily reflections are based on a phrase or thought taken from the writings of St. Eugene de Mazenod, founder of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate and my deepening relationship with him. I choose texts that inspire me, that act like springboards of recognition and discovery of who God has created me to be and how I try to live that out.
Sharing that is a privilege and a gift – all in one. And so I hope to be able to share my thoughts and awareness with any who come here. Perhaps it will become for others a starting place, a jumping-off point of discovery and deepening love and faith.
I give thanks to Fr. Frank Santucci, OMI whose blog “Eugene de Mazenod Speaks To Us” http://www.eugenedemazenod.net, has provided a springboard and introduced to me a way of looking and going deeper.
Your post gave me hope and great guidance today. Thank you. 🙂

Thank you for letting me know. There are times certainly in my life when a little affirmation of who I am or where I am headed is a good thing. It comes from where ever the Spirit wills it, perhaps in person from persons we admire and look up to or just plain like. It comes in the words of other be they in a novel, or in a blog. I am glad that I was able to offer you something. Eleanor
